Phil Donahue links the ‘war’ in Iraq to Haliburton stock..
This YouTube clip of the Fox TVs Bill O’Reilly show is almost painful to watch (I hate confrontation), however Phil Donahue says something very interesting at the end that I have been saying since the conflict happened but which I haven’t heard expressed publicly – i.e. on TV, that is that two things have doubled over the last year of the Iraq conflict: 1) the number of soldiers killed has doubled to almost 2000 and 2) the Stock of the company Haliburton (with very strong ties to certain government officials in the US) has also doubled.
I wonder also how the stock of that other connected firm, The Carlisle Group is doing?

So there’s new iPods and stuff. OK fine. Normally I’d be excited but I recently acquired an iPhone so I have everything the new stuff does already.
The new 2way headphones look good until you read the small print. So they have a microphone and remote control built-in, but it doesn’t support the Phone – WTF? How does that work?
All together for a collective headshake in disbelief.
