I am currently parked in the outside lane with about 200 other drivers waiting on a major highway in london for a motorcycle accident to be cleared. We have been here for about two hours now and have just been told we are to be turned back through the tunnel behind me and out of this mess.
The motor cyclist who has caused the delay lies in the road stil, naked with various pipes and devices attached.
They are loading him into the attending ambulance, still alive but with “life changing injurys. His broken ride still far up the road on it’s side, the area declaired a crime scene and sacrasanct until the phorensic folks come to search for evidence.
We have just made the radio, tailbacks reaching 10 miles behind me.
And so we wait.

Apparently this cheque was made out to a motor dealer in Zimbabwe for a repair on a car by one of the guys where I work!

Well the Apple rumour mill is grinding once again after Kevin Rose (of DIGG fame) slipped on dignation that the Mac is getting BlueRay. It kind of makes sense when combined with the other one kicking around at the moment about custom H.264 video decoding hardware going to be included in all Macs. BlueRay uses H.264 in it’s disk format specification.

Looks like my venerable Mac Mini will need a refresh – soon I hope, the fan is making an awful racket.

Well I waited until 10pm and no call from O2. Poor, very poor. I am not looking forward to the conversation today, I don’t like being mr angry.

Having purchased a nice new iPhone 3G about a month ago the sticky subject closing my old phone contract and transferring my number at last raised its head about two weeks ago. I called O2 to request my PAC code. I had called them several times before I purchased the phone and again after the purchase and was told different stories about number transfers. on the day I bought the phone I had requested my PAC and was sent a new PAYG SIM to transfer the number to, but never recieved the PAC so I decided to once and for all get the code and do the deed. One of the highlights of the motorshow (acording to Adam “the best bit”) was Ford’s Fiesta presentation which involved a quick change artist act. Using the fantastic quality of Flickr video I have posted the (brief) final change for your amazement and delight – enjoy:

I’ve never been to the Motorshow before and really enjoyed it. There was loads to see and do and plenty for the kids (Adam and Me!) to play on. Adam even went sailing on the dock.
